Episode of 1/15

I thoroughly enjoyed tonight's hilarious episode. All the enjoyable storylines flowed smoothly, and I especially liked all of the nice touches (a bag full of pennies, Elaine teasing Neuman, Kramer reversing his peep hole, etc.) . Loved the fur coat subplot, as well as Kramer helping Neuman not become evicted. Liked Jerry's storyline about the "European" purse, and George's "fun" with the chair made me LOL! Many classic lines in the episode! Julia-Louis Dreyfus did an especially good job tonight (was ROTFL when Elaine tried to convince them who was responsible) . All in all, the best of the season.

I'll agree. Maybe not drop dead funny enough to be a full blown A, but A- is just about right.

George in the vibrating chair, and his conversation with Jerry, was one of the sparkling moments of this season.

I feel like this is the beginning of a roller coaster ride.
Each episode gets better than the previous one; like
going up that first huge rise on the coaster.  Better and
better.  Until we hit the top.  Then it's finale time!

1/15 was a wonderful show (miles ahead of the dealership episode). I thought the scene where Elaine tried to seduce Newman was as funny as her character has ever been; also liked the super--a lot. And it's always good to have Newman around, and when Jerry and George play their respective Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck.

P.S. Does anyone think the idea of throwing the fur out the window was an hommage to the 1937 film Easy Living, which I believe was written by Preston Sturges?

love with the characters so much that you can't even tell when a show is half-baked. I'll bet if they just showed a still frame of them all standing around for half an hour you'd be ROTFL again and call it "the best of the season." They might as well have been standing around, I couldn't stop cringing from the lousy plot...>>

Oh, I'm so incredibly sorry that I enjoyed the episode more than you, the ALMIGHTY critic. I should be angry at myself for actually laughing at the "lousy plot". That has to be true since what you think is the *only* correct judegment. At least that's what I can tell from your overly cocky and ludicrous post.

I am very TIRED of people showing a direct disrespect to people who want to voice their opinions. I highly enjoyed last night's episode and I didn't expect nor deserve to get a response which blatantly bashed my view, as if you had a right to do so. Obviously I'm talking to an immature snert who doesn't know the meaning of "opinion". I have found many episodes this season disappointing, but last night I couldn't stop laughing from the intelligent comedy. It's all a matter of perception....I thought people of this newsgroup would have the sense to know that. Guess not.

The ones who bash others for enjoying 'Seinfeld' are obviously suffering from a deep sense of inferiority (probably because they feel that their lives have amounted to dick-all, failure to attain the American Dream and all that...), so they need to give themselves an ego stroke by lashing out at those whose views aren't congruent with theirs. An even worse symptom of their inferiority complex is the need to endure 30 minutes of a show that they don't like, just so they can complain about it. They probably even say, "_I_ can write a better episode than that", but of course, they never do. All I can say is, at least Seinfeld has produced a show that touches millions of viewers - what the hell have 'net critics like Justin Tribble ever done?

Oh sorry, we didn't know that we had to put on a critical mask while we're watching TV. I always thought that watching TV was for pure enjoyment. Oh well, I guess I'm wrong again because I thought that episode was very funny.

Well, when you write a review and subit it to the public (not to mention objectifying that opinion by assigning a LETTER GRADE), I think it would be safe to assume that you are being a CRITIC as opposed to a FAN.

Anyway, I've always felt that those who think they can't be critical about things they enjoy have very low standards for pleasure

My favorite part of last night: When Jerry was at the party, he was talking to that girl about his pants. That gal is the actress, I believe, from the Dockers add where the guy and the girl spot each other on the subway, and they're about to talk when the guy's pushed out the door, and she mouths the words "nice pants" as the train pulls away. I believe you're correct about the Docker's girl. It was especially amusing how Jerry asks her about his pants and she replies "Nice". Wondering if Jerry did this as penance for his lambasting Dockers years ago in one eisode.

I enjoyed last night's episode - the scene where Elaine is upset about having to pay for the coat despite being the one who threw it out the window was my favorite scene
