syndication despair and questions (and satellites)

In California, we are getting bits and pieces of Seinfeld tossed in after ball games. And I think football will preempt when baseball is over. Is this happening everywhere? My question is this - do you think the episodes will continue to be shown with announcement of which ones come when in the future. Not that it's ever going to get any better out here. Is WSBK doing this too. I wonder if I could get that on one of those little satellites (DSS?). If I did get one of those, would I be able to get Seinfeld on a regular basis. I've about had it with this cable network. I dont think you can get much PBS tho on satellites?? If you have any suggestions I'd appreciate it. Cynthia

Not everywhere -- losts of places where it's on latenight, Saturdays, and on football-less channels. It is my opinion that stations that pre-empt regular programming due to sports events should reschedule them at a later time that day. Many ABC affiliates do this to Seinfeld when Monday Night Football runs late.

Fox used to put it on at 11 sometimes, but lately they leave Cheers in that spot. They either show 15 minutes of the show as they did the other night, or they show none of it.

Hello Cynthia I saw in the syndication schedule that "The Barber" is coming up this Saturday (the 10th) .I think you been waiting for that one and I hope it won't be preempted by Baseball. Since I get no Seinfeld on Saturdays here in Montreal I'll have to wait for another 9 months or so.

Channel 3 in Burlington, Vt. shows Seinfeld Saturday at 7:30 pm. Aren't the Burlington stations carried by cable TV in Montreal?
