The Finale is South Africa

Not this Thursday, but next Thursday at 8:30pm on SABC3 is the last episode of Seinfeld.

Will it be as crap as everyone has said it will be?

You're lucky... you've got low expectations going in to "The Finale". That's the best possible way to watch it, because that way you may actually be pleasantly surprised.

Do yourself a favor and ignore what's been said about the final episode. Watch it and formulate your own opinion. Personally, I thought it was a very fitting end to the show.

The finale was quite good, but that's what it is: A finale. Expectation is very high because you know that this is the very last episode. Throughout the hour it just seemed that the characters were trying too hard to be funny, but the court scenes did allow a look at the many different characters that made Seinfeld so special.

It didn't suck.

The big problem with the finale is that it's actually about *something*, thus breaking tradition with 9 years of being about nothing. The "plot" gets in the way of the humor, IMHO.

I guess they had to do something a little bit different for the last show, though. It still has its moments.
