Confused about syndication...

hi, just one question, and sorry if it's a stupid one. When will Seinfeld be shown in syndication? Will it keep it's 7:30 PM NBC time spot?

depends on what station in your area has the rights to air them...I have primestar and it's on at 7:30pm on fox(east) and then again at 10:00pm on fox(west) it's also on local stations at 7:00pm on an independent station and 7:30pm on local NBC(mon-fri)...so check your local listings..I guess

Here something I discovered only recently. Although each station shows the series at a different time, they all show the same episode the same day. I had no idea, until recently.

I though they buy the episodes and then they show them whenever they want and in whatever order they want. I guess I was wrong.

No, you were more correct the first time. In most cases of syndication, it is up to the individual buyer (station) to air what they want and when they want. Shows that are as powerful in their negotiation, like "Seinfeld," that can still dictate what specific episodes will air on what date are far more of the exception than the rule.

well its 9:30 here, not 7:30, but no, i think frasier or something is filling in for seinfeld. but it will probably continue to be shown at 11 on weekdays.

Syndicated episodes are not shown at any one particular time. NBC is not playing these episodes, your local NBC (or other station) affiliate is airing them from syndication. Therefore, depending on where you live, you may get no syndicated seinfelds or you may have 2 or 3 a day on different channels.
