This morning's story about the mass suicide of the Web-designing cult in San Diego put me in mind of the carpet-cleaning cult in "The Checks" episode (talk about having SEINFELD as a frame of reference for everything that happens in the world! :-) ).
For those who have been complaining all year that the SEINFELD episodes this season lack the reality connection of years past, I point this out as an eerie prophetic mirror of events in the "real world."

I thought about that also. What is it with cults that they want
others to join them anyway? They don't know me, why would they want to
