greatest Seinfeld scene EVER

Here's a thread-starter:

What was the greatest Seinfeld scene ever? In other words -- the greatest moment...

My votes: both from the Keith Hernandez episode...

The "Say Vandolay! Vandolay!" scene when George dashes out of the bathroom and falls down. Also, the Zapruder film recreation of the Hernandez spitting incident.

Some other brilliant moments: Any particular scene from "The Marble Rye" Kramer combing his hair and shaving in the bathroom in LA...

Here's a brief one: George skipping through Central Park after his hand-model photo shoot.

The best Seinfeld scene ever is from the "Outing" when Sharon, the reporter from NYU was interviewing Jerry in his apartment: George was also there. He was complaing about the pear not being washed. Thinking that he and George are gay she asks Jerry "do your parents know", Jerry replies "know what?", then he remembers that she was the one who was eavesdropping at the coffee shop and tells her that they just pretended to be gay because they knew she was listening. Then they try to tell her that they aren't gay, not that there is anything wrong with that. Jerry says "I have many gay friends" and George cries " My father's gay"....Still thinking they are gay George asks, "do you wanna have sex , let's go baby"....then Kramer barges in and says "come on, let's go, I thought we were going to take a steam." Jerry and George say "no, no, no steam, then Kramer says "Well, I don't want to sit there naked all by myself!" The best Seinfeld scene of all-time!

I can't remember exactly, but somehow i think a person got pushed out of Jerry's window and lands on George's prized car, and instead of caring about the unfortunate person, George screams "MY CAAAAAAAAAAR!!!!!!!!!!" ...Classic George Castanza! (Feel free to correct mistakes I might've made in that scene, but that's the gist of it.)

One of my favorites is when George asked why he didn't get Elaine's X-mas (nipple photo) card, and Elaine grabs his head and shoves it in her chest screaming "... here's your card!"

Also from"The Outing", when Kramer comes in after reading the newspaper, and says; "I Thought we were friends!" He tells Jerry the 'masquerade is over,,,I mean look at you,,,,you're thin, late thirties, single..." Then Jerry says 'So are you'. The reaction from Kramer is so hilarious, it looked like George and Elaine could hardly get through the scene without cracking up. (not that there's anything wrong with that)

George checking out the NBC president's daughter and he sneaks up on him and says "Get a good look Costanza?"

The birthday party where George berates Jason the Clown for not knowing who Bozo was (and Jason says, 'You're hung up on some clown from the sixties man!!') and then proceeding to bowl over old ladies and children to get out the door when a fire erupts.

Kramer doing his Hennigans Scotch commercials in Jerry's living room. 'Hennigans...no smell, no tell...scotch"

Three off the top of my head, but there's a thousand others that kill me...

My favorite is when George pushes all the kids out of the way in "The Fire", but if you polled everyone in America like they did with the Top Ten Episodes, the Magic Loogie scene would definately be #1

It's near impossible to pick just one...but way up there for me is the scene where George goes to his convict-girlfriend's parole hearing to jeapordize her release...."Plans...schemes...."

Personally, I wouldn't rate the Zapruder parody as high as so many others do.

My all-time favorite is the Marine Biologist ending. George is given his moment in the spotlight to shine - and does he ever - then Kramer clinches it with his "Hole in one!" LOL every time. (But I do enjoy the Kramer bus-stopping monologue, too.)

Shoot! I almost forgot the greatest Kramer scene ever:

"The Jimmy" -- The final scene with Mel Torme singing and Kramer with the swollen lip. Just thinking about that bit makes me laugh out loud.

"The whole world smiles... with... yoooooooooooooouuuuu."

"The wheels on the bus go round and round, round and round, round and round..."- Jerry, watching Nickelodeon and singing along to get his mind off of sex. From The Contest, of course.

I always liked the scene where Jerry catches Newman in Kenny Rogers Roasters, and "makes" him eat the broccoli...."Vile weed"!!!

The scene where Jerry is in the confessional.

I also thought the Frogger scene two weeks ago was pure genius. I wish I taped it!

3 that haven't been mentioned:

1) Elaine & Jerry in the coffee shop, with JS complaining the Keith Hernandez hasn't called him 3 days after they met. This set the tone for the rest of the episode, which is the funniest hour of television of my lifetime.

2) In the 2nd part of the trip to California, George & Jerry in the the back of the police car.

3) The back-and-forth scene where Elaine & Jerry are trying to set of George & Elaine's friend.

you're all a bunch of sillies...

the best scene may be the one where George is trying to talk Jerry into getting that lip reading woman to a party. The brilliance is in how not subtle George and jerry are being in their conversation.
