When was Susan a lesbian????

Could somebody please tell me in which episode/episodes was Susan a lesbian and why isn't she now.

Susan is revealed to be a Lesbian in "The Smelly Car". As for no longer being one, the one explanation we have is George's saying "It didn't take" in this season's opener.

There is no such episode, and there could never be such an episode. Do you really think that George could get involved with someone that Kramer had slept with ? He'd get so neurotic, comparing his performance to Kramer's, that he'd never be able to look the woman in the eyes, let alone make love to her, or get married to her.

Several episodes later, after Susan's fathers cabin burned down...I seeme to remember that he was revealed to have had a gay lover as well...and weren't her parents broken up at that time????

Susan became a lesbian after she and George broke up the first time. But as soon as George found out that she had become a lesbian he became very attracted to her ("You're so hip.") But later, Susan's lesbian lover had an affair with Kramer. When George is consoling Susan and telling her that she would find another woman ("You're a very eligible lesbian.") and also letting her know that he now finds her very attractive, an old girlfriend of George's walks in. This was the woman who was in the episode where George and Jerry were mistaken for homosexuals - the one who threatened to kill herself when George tried to break up with her (Alison, I think). Suddenly Allison and Susan's eyes meet and it is assumed they will become a couple. In another show, the one where Jerry's pilot airs, Susan and Alison are seen cuddling together on a sofa watching the pilot.

Kramer wouldn't have been given an opportunity to "bring Susan back" -- not after he threw up on her, burned down her father's cabin. It simply "didn't take".
