better, sure. but anything coming after 'butter shave' is bound to look better than it has any right to. -the voice bit actually got funnier as the show went on, which is good and i had to like the "engagement" sequence -i'll admit that jerry's acting in this ep. at least was a lot easier to watch than it has been in the past -elaine's plotline with david 'deadwood' puddy and losing bets with jerry seemed like filler because they could put elaine to way better use -george's plotline was probably the weakest because it's hard to laugh at the same old things they have him doing over and over again -intern bit was okay but dropping a rubber ball of oil on a woman was little too far-fetched
i think a reason that the show has remained so popular even with the low quality shows that dominated last year is that it exudes a certain modern swagger that makes people really want to watch it
