First Real Signs of the Characters...

	My wife claims that Elaine and George especially are not
	themselves" in the early episodes (Chronicles, season 1's 4
	epis, season 2, etc.)

	I tend to think she's right.  I watched episode 9 today,
	though, the "phone message" and thought George was
	acting like "George" for the first real time.  Same for
	"Elaine."

	While this might be a bit arcane, does anyone else have
	any thoughts about this -- albeit small -- phenomenon?

ps: Puddy is always Puddy.

I thought George was his classic self in The Stakeout, when he and Jerry come up with their "alibi" for staking out the law firm gal. It's the first mention of George's fantasy to be an architect, and the first mention of Art Vandaley.

But I would agree that the phone message episdoe was his first real full Episode of George.
