At 1:15 it cant even be a two parter. Will they possibly trim some? If so anyone who taped the original will have a collectors item.

An article in my local paper says it runs 1 hour without some of the "promotional spots".

I thought of that too. I taped the original broadcast, and I intend to hold onto it.
In syndication, they might butcher it down to two half-hours, or, if we're lucky, they could stretch it into three half hours by adding lengthy recaps at the beginnings of parts 2 and 3. The running time would also be slightly extended by having the closing credits run three times (once at thhe end of each part) instead of only once like the original broadcast.
To my knowledge, the last M*A*S*H*, which ran 2 1/2 hours, was hardly ever shown again since 1983.
