The show can go on ...

For the 1/08 episode: I got the biggest kick out of Elaine imitating Puddy's look & stare. That was great!

On the subject of spinoffs - why just focus on one of the characters getting their own show?

I think the show could go on with all of the remaining characters if Jerry left. Sure, there would be a void (and an obvious need to change the title) but hell - just have Jerry taking off somewhere to find himself or something - perhaps a few 'guest' shots during the season - and voila! The rest of the cast could carry on for a couple of more seasons.

Seinfeld has a huge cast of regulars and semi-regulars that can be brought in and out every other episodes now - and if more are introduced ...?!? The story lines (or 'nothingness') can continue as long as the writing is there.

I say it can be done!

One, doesn't anyone realize that 3 of them can't carry the show without the 4th person. Two, do you think that you can repackage a show without its title character and expect that the secondary characters can just come in and feel free, most of those secondary characters have a relationship with Jerry that makes them funny! And the storylines would be bad without Jerry's influence (the only thing that would save it is if Larry David used his influence but that won't happen!).

Are you talking about "Seinfeld R.F.D"? or maybe "AfterJerry"? Or "The Kramer Palace", where they all run a hotel or something? Maybe "The Seinfeld Variety Hour", with another actor playing Jerry and the whole cast doing disco numbers in polyester sequins? Naah, don't think it'll ever work. I don't see any Frasiers in the bunch,either. Could you imagine finally meeting George's younger brother, and finding out he's even more demented?
