...And I'm not talking about Jackie Chiles commercials, which I assume are seen all over the country...

I'm talking about commercial's that are, most likely, only seen in your hometown...stuff that advertises for a store exclusive to your city, or a radio show or something only heard in your area...

Here in NY, for instance, there are two I've seen...One is simple, it's some sort of a window/shades place, and the commercial is just (I assume the owner of the store) talking about his "summer deal" or something...but in the commercial he uses the line "These Pretzles Are Making Me Thirsty"...that line has NOTHING to do with the commercial or what's being advertised, but he throws it in...perhaps he's a seinfeld fan, or just trying to get seinfeld fans to notice the commercial and say "Hey I need windows and/or shades, I'll go there!"...or perhaps there were pretzles on the set, and he ate some and not realizing the camera was on, said "These Pretzles are making me thirsty"...

The second commercial takes off with a fond character of ours...The Soup Nazi...in the commercial, an advertisement for a radio show, I think someone names "Rocky," they mention that he's like the funniest guy on the radio, and they go out to find laughless New Yorkers to prove it...So then comes the arm, holding the radio to some laughless NYers, one of which being the laughless NYer himself, the Soup Nazi (in character, serving soup)...eventually the show gets all the people to laugh, except, as we see in the last shot, the soup nazi...

There are two endings to this commercial, one shows the Soup Nazi saying "Not Funny"...the other has him saying "No soup for Rocky...Next!"

You r lucky your not in Australia. They have Kramer doing a deal with the folks at Vodafone. One ad has him buying a single egg at a supermarket. They say that they can only sell him the half dozen. He says that he doesn't need 6 eggs. Then he whips out a single slice of bread and asks if they'll go easier on the bread. Then the Vodafone section flicks on and says that with their rates you only pay for the time you use. A one-second plan. Then you can hear Kramer's Oh Yeah!
