Did I miss something? At the end of the THU (12/5/96) NBC episode, there was an in memoriam for Marjorie Gross.
When did she die? What did she have?
I did a search on the NBC site but didn't find anything.
Anybody know anything?

Apparently she had cancer of some kind. The photo of her at the end showed her completely bald (but smiling), most likely from chemotherapy. Someone else had died as well. They mentioned it the week before or the week after Gross.

No, it is not her. Heidi Swedberg played Susan and is still alive in real life. Marjorie Gross was a writer for the show.
