In the most recent episode of Seinfeld Jerry dates the girl who crashed her car into another car. But when he finds out that the person who had thier car wrecked is the beautiful blond across the way, her tries to date her also. Which brings me to my point.
This is one of the most basic elements of manhood (or as I like to call it being a total bonehead). I speak from persoal experience and the experiences of my buddies.
When your not seeing anybody, you can't get any woman to give you the time of day. But when you have a girlfriend other women are coming onto you left, right and centre. But rather than saying to yourself "Hey I'm a lucky guy to have a wonderful girl...". Rather, when a girl hits on us we say "I can make this work, I can go out with both of them". When in actual fact we have no hope in hell of getting this thing to work.
Enter Jerry this week, he's got the red head and then he sees the blond. And what does he say "I can make this work". And what happens-...he gets in trouble with the both of them.
I've seen this episode of Seinfeld more than once come to real-life. My question is why can't we take this apriori information and say "this isn't going to work"?
