Another Poll - Character Names Based on Real People

TheNewsGuy(Mike) in a recent post asked which characters are based on people who work on the show.

He also mentioned Joe DiVola is a real person he and Jerry know.

How about a list of people like Joe DiVola based on real people someone on the show knows.

I can start it with several Univerity of Maryland friends of Larry David from when he attended in the late 1960s:

Sagman, Bennett, Robbins, Oppenheim and Taft (The Stakeout)- Vanessa's law firm.

Howard Metro (Male Unbonding). Jerry's childhood friend, Joel Horneck, asks Jerry who he just ran into - Howard Metro, a mutual childhood friend.

Bobby Pincus (The Big Salad). Dry cleaner murdered by Kramer's golfing buddy and former baseball star Steve Gendeson.

I knew Bob Sacamono (that is the wrong spelling too). Larry Charles (stage name), Bob, and I plus a few other scant mentioned Seinfeld characters grew up together in Brooklyn. Somehow a few of us reached adulthood, a magnificent feat considering what we all went through. I am mentioned briefly in an episode ("The Fire" where George knocks over an invalid old women and crushes children en route to escaping a small fire at a children's birthday party) as a new "Vice President" much to Elaine's chagrin. It took me several years after the show ended to figure out it was Larry that was dropping all the names of kids we grew up with; guess I'm not the most astute viewer. Larry and I were friends from third grade on through High School and then lost touch; he went to CA to pursue his career and I stayed put to tend to a much more mundane existence.

I went to the University of Toronto with Lorne Lipowitz - he produced college reviews and musicals did a little local TV, and then went on to New York and did become somewhat famous ending up using his middle name as his last name. "Lorne Michaels".
