The 1 Hour Episode (5/2/96)...

Hello, everyone.

     I have a few problems with the way that the 1 hour episode was
handled....
     They didn't resolve everything on that show by the end!!
     Look at the following cases in point:
     1) What happened to the mechanic and Jerry's car???
     2) What happened to the mail truck and its hoisted parcels???
     3) What happened with George in the nut house???
     4) How did Newman and Kramer get back to the city - with the golf
        clubs no less???
     5) How did Peterman's golf date with the Kennedy woman & the bent
        golf clubs go?
     6) What was the project that George was supposed to be doing???
     7) Etc...  Etc...  Etc...

Can anyone explain any of these things???

     It was unlike the show to not resolve the bigger plots and then
resolve one of the minor plots at the end credits.
     In my opinion, the show ended on a lame note.
     Shame on them!!!

Now, tonight's episode (5/9/96) according to what I can gather is supposed to go on as though all the stuff that happened in the 1 hour episode never occurred. They mention George's impending nuptials. If this is the case, how did or does he get out of the nut house???

Explain all of this to me, PLEASE!!!

Hmmm. You're right. Maybe the writer was watching one too many episodes of Red Dwarf. (For those of you who don't know, Red Dwarf is an absolutely hilarious British sci-fi comedy where absolutely nothing gets resolved in any of the episodes... They just start at a given point... Crew lost in space; not much happening -- and then something strange happens, and everything gets weirder and weirder until either time runs out or they can't do anything more with it, and they end the episode there. Next episode it's as if it never even happened... they're back to 'lost in space, not much happening.')

To give possible answers to some of your questions; 1. They both disappear and are never seen again. (And Jerry has to get rides from people in the next few episode.) 2. Some guy with a tow truck comes along and steals it; Newman gets in trouble at work. 3. After the eighth most embarrasing evening of his life, Susan comes down and vouches for him, and he gets let go. 4. They hitchhiked with a string of interesting people, including a blonde girl driving her grandma's taxi from her brother's place. (FRIENDS REFERENCE.) 5. He got a lot of strange looks when he commented on the late president's incredibly bad temper... 6. Who knows? It was all in Wilhelm's head, anyways...

These are all lies. None of these replies happened on any of the questions of the original poster. All of the occurences in the hour episode were not resolved as of yet. Things just went back to normal.

These are not lies! This was a 90 minute special! Didn't any of you see the last 30 minutes?? :-)

Just a quick question. Why is there a smegging Sienfeld question in the Red Dwarf newsgroup? This isn't meant to be a flame and I'm sure many smeggies watch Sienfeld, but what kind of answers would you expect from Red Dwarf fans?
