Elaine's apartment

In the last episode of season 5, Elaine gets kicked out of her apartment. In all of season 6 I don't recall any reference to where she lived ever coming up. In the first episode of season 7 she says "I just moved, I can't move again." Where did she live during season 6? Surely not with Mr Pitt, because that would have driven her to an institution, if not worse.

I think the "just moved" part refers to when she moved at the end of season 5. Elaine's apartment is featured prominently in a season 6 show, "The Race", and it's the same apartment that appears as late as season 9.
