In the episode where Jerry's parents left their retirement home in Florida because Jerry's dad got kicked out of office, Jerry and his parents leave together and everybody starts applauding them. Did this come from a movie?

That was a parody of the Nixon Impeachment.

BTW my spell checker put in "uneducated" instead of "unindicted" - LOL - Nixon was a crook but he was certainly not uneducated.

We may all look "uneducated" from up there, Mike.. but Nixon was an Unindicted co-conspirator, and a highly educated man.
