Fans debate whether the red dot on the sweater in this episode was actually visible to viewers, with disagreement over its location if it existed.

Where on that sweater exactly was the red spot. I never did SEE it.

My guess it was either a very small red dot below the right pocket OR a reddish blemish of a larger size in the same general area. The episode was called the RED DOT but there is no exact size for a dot. A dot could be as big as a basketball or as small as a pencil point. It seems that the dot on the sweater was quite small but once one looked for it - It could be easily found.

I don't think anybody actually "saw" it... I don't think in reality there ever was one, which was part of the sight gag... We never notice it but it jumps out at them. As far as where it was supposed to be, I believe a bit under the right pocket.
