Newsgroup users discuss creating a support list regarding positions in a trading dispute, with concerns raised about fake accounts supporting one side.
Since Sam, Dave and John claim they have their own group of people supporting their view in the trading issue, I suggest we make a quick list of people supporting either Sam or John&Dave.
I support Dave&John's view.

For those who haven't noticed, there seems to be an abundance of oddly similar messages in support of Sam. Take a closer look at the typical pro-Sam message: you'll find many are posted to Google Groups, rather than directly to their ISP's news server. They generally contain personal attacks and insults to Dave and myself, often along with fawning praise of Sam. And most importantly: the originating IP addresses are from strangely exotic locations (Finland, Italy, China, etc.), yet the poster has an American name, speaks fluent English, and is familiar with American slang and American trivia.
Now, I'm sure Sam will claim that this is simply due to his international stature as a beloved leader of the oppressed. :-) But when you realize that using anonymous remailers can cause a message to be posted from another country, a different explanation comes to mind. I'm not suggesting all of Sam's supporters are fabricated--I'm sure some are real. But the next time you see a typical pro-Sam post, look closer at the message headers for a good laugh.

Perhaps you guys oughttta make own listserv or even TOP100 Pro & Cons of Trading Website or whatever... I'm tired of filling up my killfile with (everytime I check this ng) adding new subjects about same nothing. And some Dave just wrote in reply to my other post that ya'all already quit this subject couple days ago LOL, Dave ;)
