Does George get fired in sesson finale?

I heard that the real George Steinbrenner will appear on the May 16 season finale and fire George. My buddy said he read that Steinbrenner appears, but does not fire George.

Does anybody know the true answer?

George Steinbrenner was quoted in the New York Post (I think that's the paper) that he does appear in the episode, and yes, George does lose his job. I didn't read it in the post, but I think AP picked it up.

I read the AP story and it said George never got fired.
