Seinfeld on VCD

Simply put: this a collection of Seinfeld from begining to end on vcd. not copied from syndication or tv but from a set of tapes made for the cast and crew at the wrap of the show. They are without commercials, weather alerts, station ids, banners, or syndication cuts. the average syndication cut episode is 20 minutes, the average uncut studio episode is 22 minutes.

that number times 180 episodes is a lot of lost seinfeld. but there is more. the syndication reshoot with jerry stiller ( the episode is the parking space) as georges dad was what most saw on tv but another actor did the spot.

also included with this set will be the blooper tapes, outakes most did not see.

the set will be burned to 60 plus discs. they will be in order. they will be in tyvek sleeves so you might put them in a binder. they will be either labeled or numbered with a seperate sheet to indicate what is where. the reason I say they might be labeled is because I have had problems in the past of individuals having the labels come off either out or (sometimes worse) of their DVD player or computer CD tray. in any event, I will include the label designs on a disc so you may put them on if you wish.

they are intended to play full screen on your TV played through a VCD compatible DVD player (check out www.vcdhelp.com for models that do) they will also play on your computer with appropriate software

you can request a demo disc (which is free for now) which is used to check for compatibility and if you will like the set.

the cost is $150. payment will be made in the form of pay pal. I normally don't accept money orders or checks but sometimes I make acceptions.

I received your vcd. Thank you. It didnt play on my dvd player but i was able to reuse the dat files to do one that works with Nero.

I wish you would elaborate little on picture quality. It is not that good..... Is that only a problem with the demo or is that normal quality for all the episodes. I know the quality of the avis is not your fault.. its the technology limitations, but people shouldnt be expecting broadcast tv quality picture. The sound, however, is great

Yes, you are right that it is not broadcast quality. I wish it was even if for my self. it is mostly due to the limitations on vcd standard format. I think it is mainly due to the streching. I thought about doing SVCDs but 64 disks are enough much less a third more to do SVCDs. it takes about twelve hours to do a set and that is unautomated. no, they are not broadcast quality and that is what I send the demo disc (Free of charge) for becuase I dont want to sell a set and somebody complain. it is like buying a computer from say Dell and then complaining to customer service that it don't work when the real problem is you don't know how to use a computer. I think there should be a lot more try before you buy deals in world.

mostly these really appeal to people overseas who don't get seinfeld played twelve times a week. we used to get three different episodes a day of seinfeld AND the simpsons. there are people in the US that have bought them too.

some people think they are great others think they are ok. as for playing on the dvd player. only about ten percent of the people have had problems playing them

the best part of them is you can watch tehm again and again. if you a fair distance from the TV the pixilation is much less noticeble (at least in my opinion.)

anyhow for any body that still wants them I will make only about 6 more sets before they are gone.
