The Jerk Store called and they are running out of you! George was the best character on the show. Everybody can relate to Georgisms.... the perfect come back that you think of way too late. One of my favourite Georgism is "Hi I'm George, I'm 30, I'm unemployed, and I live with my parents".

Got any favourite Georgisms?

Laura KimotoSean Scully

Not exactly a Georgism, (or should I spell that Ge orgasm)... There was a photo in the local paper of a guy flying a fighter plane. The plane (right below the cockpit) had his name printed with the nickname 'T-bone.'

George: "You ask me to have lunch, tell me you slept with Elaine, and then say you're not in the mood for details? Now you listen to me. I want details and I want them right now. I don't have a job, I have no place to go. You're not in the mood? Well you *get* in the mood!!"

George: "The sea was angry that day my friends, like an old man trying to return soap at a deli!"

heh, verbila

p.s. George is by far my favorite character. I love when he gets *so excited* about some crazy schemes he dreams up. :)

I love his way of getting angry: When he drives the Rosses to his house in the Hamptons "Wanna get nuts? Let's GET NUTS!" or "Let's TAKE IT UP A NOTCH!"

I've been doing quite a lot of "Allllright, ooookay...", lately. Referring to George being locked out of his office in "The Voice", of course.

"You're killing independent George!"

"For I am Costanza...King of the idiots."

"I do for the bad stuff" (whether he believes in God)

George truly was 'Pensky material'

"Elaine, bald men with no job and who live with their parents do not approach strange women" - George.

R. W. PotterSean Scully

Georgisms:

About whether vomiting on someone constitutes a deal-breaker: "Ah Chamberlain - you could stick his head in the toilet, he'd still give you half of Europe."

and after tunneling through ductwork to get back into his sealed PlayNow office:

"Ah, Audrey ... and you can tell Mr. __, I'M IN MY OFFICE!!"

Scott PSean Scully

"Find someone better than me? You could throw a dart out a window and hit someone better than me!"

"Of course I'm not Cartwright!"

Someone else mentioned this one but it's worth putting twice: "Elaine, bald men with no job and no money who live with their parents do not approach strange women."

"The sea was angry that day my friends..."

Not really a Georgism but I love it when in the episode where he dates the girl from the south and he imitates her voice saying, "This is my sister; this is my cousin." And in the same episode when he describes her reaction to his dumping her to Jerry. "And then she let loose with the obscenities. 'Son of a BANG! Son of a BOOM!'" Hilarious!

The final scene in "The Limo."

To his mother: "You're not out there. I'M out there. And if I see you out there, there's not enough voltage in this world to electroshock me back into coherence."

When he begins to imitate Jimmy ("George likes spicy chicken") and how he uses the expression in other episodes: "George is getting frustrated!"

"What's so great about a Mom and Pop store? Let me tell you something - if my Mom and Pop owned a store, I wouldn't shop there."

The way he orders food in the coffee shop, or when he's nervous before a meeting at NBC: "Water...water here!"

A great scene (in "The Blood") is when he becomes "The Fornicating Gourmet," by attempting to incorporate food into his love-making: George (taking stuff out of a paper shopping bag): You got your whip-cream...your honey...your pastrami on rye with mustard... Tara: Pastrami on rye with mustard? George: Remember, they used pastrami in the movie "9 1/2 Weeks"? Remember the pastrami scene? Tara: No. George: Well, maybe it was "Ghostbusters." Either way...(takes a big bite of the sandwich and well, you know what happens next).

"But ya are, Blanche! Ya are in da shackles! Boy, I really can't wait to read my Time magazine! Maybe I'll read it tomorrow...in the park! Supposed to be a ba-yoo-tiful day! Have a nice life! Sentence, that is!"

"Pulp can move, baby!"

"What...are you using my babies now?"

I love the scene later in this episode, outside Kramer's apartment. George holds his eyes open and growls, "GET IT BACK!" That's gold!

This is a close but not exact recap of the lines:

Elaine to George: You're a little careful with money George: You know I'm not really working right now......When I was working I SPENT BABY!!!!

Also here is one of my favorites of all time:

George: Do you ever get down on your knees and thank god that you know me, and have access to my dementia?

Does anyone remember what George said to the Doctor upon hearing of Susan's death?

Don't forget the kicker, after the doctor informs him about the toxic glue (and again explained to Marisa Tomei when hitting her up for a date soon after the funeral):

"if those kind of superficialities are important to you then this probably isn't going to work" -George.

"Who are you George Kastanza?" "I'm the opposite of every man you've ever met."

"Did you have sex with the cleaning lady on your desk?" "If somebody had told me when I first started working here that that type of thing was frowned upon........"

There was Georgism I liked. He was caught peeing in the showers. He said to Jerry and Elain that it is bad to hold it in. They said "how do you know?" George replies "Medical Journals". Anyone have the exact wording on that. --lol Medical Journals
