I agree that Brian Smith is a racist , however the proper response to individuals such as Mr. smith should be one of love and compassion, not spewing out your own brand of hate in return, for that lowers you to his level. As a French -Canadian living outside of Quebec, I deal with anti-francophone sentiment on a daily basis, and though it makes me angry, I still try to keep in mind where the other person is coming from. I think what this person MAY be reffering to is that if Seinfeld is indeed rascist, it would be terrible since Seinfeld does have a huge impact on society. I'd say the show is a bit ambiguous since most of blacks on the show are jerks. but then again, isn't every1 on the show? the show is rascist against the human race, not just a single minority.

Interesting to note that tonight's syndication episode (The Diplomats Club) was definitely a jab at critics who complain that the show is too white (George trying to get a black friend), just like The Bizarro Jerry was a jab at critics who complain that the characters on the show are too mean, so they give us the nice versions of the gang, and of course, they are completely boring.

I think at this point we are all figuratively running a blow dryer next to the phone and telling the originator of this thread that our car is running out of gas.

For what it's worth, I think Seinfeld is probably the only show on american network tv that actually acknowledges the differences between people, both the actual differences and the ones that are popularly supposed.

And if that is racist, I'll go work for Vandelay Industries.
