Fans praise the finale for cleverly incorporating internet rumors and fan theories into the episode plot, including plane crash, LA move, and marriage references.
I really think they did a nice job on the last episode. I liked it how they kinda threw lots of those "untrue" internet rumor plots in with the episode. You know, the plane going down was like the Thelma and Louise ending and "Jerry" getting picked up by NBC and the 2 of them moving to LA was like the rumor of them all moving to LA. There may have been more that I didn't pick up on.
Very good. They will be missed.
NBC must have leaked the rumors to cause a stir and then put 'em in the viewers faces after they had been slapped down. Another one was when Geraldo mentioned "wedding bells." Implying the marriage rumor.
