What did you guys think of "The Strike" That aired 12/18/97? Did you like it "Yes" or "No"? Jon B.

It was an episode that wasn't LOL funny while watching it, but some of the absurdity of the basic ideas, like the Festivus thing, Elaine's free sub quest, how Elaine ended up also being an 'ugly face', and Jerry's two-face girlfriend mistaking Kramer's comment to think that Jerry was with Elaine; these things stuck with me and caused me to cackle inside the following day. As an added comment on the 'the show is declining' threads, this episode illustrates that while the shows aren't always as funny as one another (although in general I feel that they are still as good as ever), they always have some good things happening thematically.

Hmm....is that a trick question? :) It was so so for me. Definitely NOT the best this season. Definitely NOT a classic by any means. Definitely better than The Junk Mail.

A HUGE YES! Now pardon me,,I have to do some shopping and I have to get my coat out of the fridge! ((Which of course flies right in the face of the Clothes in the Oven tirade he was on for a while..but hey....its TV!))

I thought the episode was so-so. What really got me going was my reaction to Kramer having a job. I could not come to terms with the concept! I was more amused by my reaction to that concept than by the show iteself! John
