The whole show's a complete copy of Seinfeld. One of the scenes in the pilot Tuesday night (Ellen DeGeneris and her friends were discussing how another friend's date hhad gone) could have appeared, word for word, on Seinfeld. Especially Ellen's lines; I could easily imagine Jerry Seinfeld saying them...

Not bloody likely!
I think that Ellen deGeneris is a hilarious comedian, but her supporting castmates on TFOM just are overshadowed by her. I find her "guyfriend" (forgot his name) fully characterless--he has no real personality. I mean if he's supposed to be the "Elaine" of the show, pleeeazzze. The show lacks most of the intelligent humor that I love in Seinfeld.
