When you see an open handicap space how many of you think of what Kramer said about them being empty becuase the handicapped want to be treated like everyone else? I always think back to that scene when I see an open space and I'm always tempted to park there.

You'd have a job in the UK because they get taken pretty quickly by the 'able-bodied'.
But in a way - these people are handicapped. I certainly feel sorry for them.

Don't you just love it when they park (on an angle, just because you can!) in a handicap spot, and that, by leaving the engine running, somehow makes it ok to do so? And then there's always the inevitable bimbo sitting in the passenger seat smoking a cigarette or chewing gum, while mister genius is buying a pack of smokes.

I always find it funny that the parking ticket for parking in the handicap spot is more than parking in front of a fire hydrant. Isn't it more important to save people in case of a fire than give someone (albeit, a handicap person) a few feet of convenience?

That's because the handicap really want you to park in those spaces. It makes them feel just like everyone else.

You'd love it in the UK. There's very little handicapped parking (except at supermarkets, and AFAIK it's not illegal for anyone to use them).
