BOSTON (Reuters) via NewsEdge Corporation - The last ``Seinfeld'' will have the four narcissistic New Yorkers witness a carjacking and be arrested for not reporting it, The Boston Herald said on its front page Wednesday.
The plot for the last episode of the popular NBC television situation comedy, to be broadcast Thursday, has been a closely held secret for months.
However gossip columnists Laura Raposa and Gayle Fee reported Wednesday the plot of the last ``show about nothing'' has the kvetching quartet -- Jerry, Elaine, George and Kramer --laugh about the carjacking. But the joke is on them because not reporting a crime is an offense in New York City.
The four are arrested and put on trial, according to the Boston Herald. At the trial several guest stars including Teri Hatcher, New York Mets first baseman Keith Hernandez, Jerry Stiller and Estelle Harris, among others, make appearances as character witnesses.
The Herald's gossip columnists said they did not know how the episode ends.

Seinfeld is only over in the sense that the CREATION of it is over. All of its episodes can -- and will -- live on, which shouldn't stop any of us from doing the above. Sure there won't be any new episodes, but let's keep it in perspective...

Yes. I could watch "The Boyfriend" until my eyeballs burst. But knowing that there won't be anymore news ones is saddening. But I agree with jerry when he says that leaving on top is the only way to leave -- leave them (us) wanting more...
By the way, some episodes won't live on. The only way we'll ever be able to see last week's Puerto Rican Day episode is if we have it on tape. NBC and Castle Rock say they're never going to rerun it -- and they're not going to syndicate it.
Yeah, I feel like my life's blood is just draining away. I dare say it's like your best friend is on his deathbed and there's just hours left. Maybe I just need professional help. Thank God for reruns, but it still just won't be the same.
