At the same time, Conan, due to falling ratings (can they get any lower?) is forced to step down from Late Night. NBC, faced with a host shortage, puts two and two together and faster than you can say hipster doofus we have Late Night with Jerry Seinfeld... With sidekick Jason Alexander. Michael Richards as a recurring character, a la "The Man Under the Stairs" Chris Elliott. What a CONCEPT! Can Lanie play an instrument?
