Larry David

Larry David was on this morning on the CBS Morning Show. Usually don't watch this junk but got lucky today. As expected, he revealed nothing about the series finale, only saying that "anything can happen" and "wouldn't it be better to just watch the show?". He wouldn't comment on rumours that Jerry and Elaine will get married, or that a character may get killed off. According to him, his mother asked him about the ending but he wouldn't even tell her. The CBS host gave him a Seinfeld quiz (I don't why, but remember this is the CBS Morning Show) - and he didn't know Seinfeld's apartment number! But he did confirm that George won "The Contest".

Everyone seems to be complaining about the last episode, but does anyone think the show sucked because of the writing? Larry David came back to write this last episode. Seems to me that in his last year of writing, fans and critics alike were complaining that the show seemed on the way down. However, I think that this year has been one of the funniest in a number of years, and all I have heard is how Seinfeld has made such a strong comback from some disappointing seasons. Should blame for this last episode be placed on the shoulders of David. Maybe the show would have been better served by letting this years team of writers finish it off.

That said, I loved the way he ended the show. I knew David at one point said he wanted to kill the characters off, but this may have been the next best thing.
