never have chucked, never will chuck...

i think many of the sayings between george and jerry are completely made-up. as funny as i thought the terms "dribbler" and "chucker" were, i have never heard anyone anywhere being called either. i've heard the terms ball-hog, black-hole, stretch, dude, menace, brick-layer, enforcer, and titan. but i never heard anyone being called either of the seinfeld references. but then again i've only played on courts in philadelphia, boston, and nyc.

has anyone ever heard of a chucker in a basketball context before???

also: the CHALLENGE -- can anyone find other inside phrases (or potential inside phrases) used by george/jerry. i know i have many with close friends from college.

Our name for a player like this was a "gunner." But regardless of whether anyone heard the term "chucker" before, didn't we all know *exactly* what Jerry meant by it when he said it? I imagine people are using the word in pickup games all over the country by now.

We used to and still do say chucker when we take alot of bad shots while playing basketball. I've never heard of titan used on the court so I guess we all have limited court knowledge.
