vegetable lasagna

i was wondering why elaine and puddy were calling the guy on the plane vegetable lasagna..was something cut from the original??

Because that's what he ate when dinner was served.. homerr..

I think the idea was to show us how "beneath her" Elaine considered her seatmate. To not even bother with his name, and just call him by what he happened to have eaten for dinner, shows a contempt that I would ordinarily find disagreeable.

But since it was our dear sweet Lainie, then it's ok.

thanks, but i assumed its what he ate for dinner...i was wondering if the part where he ate it was cut......i have a lot of originals on tape and notice parts missing when they show them in syndication and i thought this was another example..thanks again

I think it had to do with what food he ordred on the flight. I don't think that Puddy was sitting close enough to ask his name.
