What do I need to do to get an AVI file to play video on my PC ? All I get is the audio. And is there a way to make them play in a DVD player ? Do I need convert them to some other format ? Do I need some other utility ????

If you are just getting audio with the file, try getting Windows Media Player 7.1. To play the files in a DVD player, unless you have a DVD burner, you can record them as VCD's. Nero Burning Rom is a very good program to use for that.
