I was just wondering if the episode where they were making the pilot of Jerry's and Georges show was based on a real life thing? I'd be glad for someone to tell me if so!!!!! THanks a million. Braden!!!!

There is a lot of real-life basis in "the Pilot" as well as many other episodes. See Kenny Kramer's Reality Tour for a lot of inside stories.

The actual series pilot "The Seinfeld Chrincles" aired on syndication last night. It is a rough, crude version of what we now know and love, and predates our beloved 'Lanie.
