Which episode had Kramer mentioning the death of Kessler?

Kessler was the name of the character Kramer only in the Pilot episode. And then Kramer corrected Jerry when asked if he was Kessler by saying, "No, I'm Kramer" in "The Betrayal". I don't know of any mention of Kessler's death.

In the 9th and last season of the series, in the episode called The Blood, Jerry's parents are in town for the funeral of Marvin Kessler. Jerry is surprised that Kramer knows about the death.
