Fans identify the computer featured in the episode as Apple's 20th Anniversary Macintosh with Bose speakers, costing around $7,000-$8,000.

I think on the Dec. 11 episode (With the nude girl). Jerry had a big black computer with big speakers can any one tell me what kind of computer this is?

That computer is Apple's 20th anniversary macintosh. Don't plan on buying one though. They cost around $7,000 - $8,000 US. Supposed to have a kickin Bose sound system.

now the computer's price is reduced to about $4000 (macresq has it at http://www.macresq.com/). still not within my budget though.

I find it fascinating that, regarding a Seinfeld episode which featured an attractive woman walking around naked all the time in Jerry's apartment, there's all these postings regarding Jerry's new computer! "HEY, there's a new computer!" "Where?" "There, behind that naked chick!"

Fascinating. Not sad or bad. More charming than anything I guess. And very funny!
