Fans discuss underrated Seinfeld episodes they enjoy, with mentions of "The Hamptons," "The Cheever Letters," "The Opposite," and "The Kiss Hello" as gems that deserve more recognition.

When talking about the classic Seinfeld episodes, everybody mentions "The Contest", "The Junior Mint" or "The Soup Nazi", for example. Are there some eps you really like but seem to be unnoticed by other fans? As for me, I'd mention "The Hamptons". And the one, I can't remember the title, when we learn that Susan's dad was John Cheever's lover.

It's kind of difficult to pick these because most of them have been praised at some time or other. "The Opposite" doesn't get the publicity that some of the others do, but it seems to have its own group of devotees, of which I am one of the biggest. I've always felt "The Race" is one of the all-time greats. The Superman motif running side by side with a Communism theme is absolutely brilliant. Another classic is "The Pitch", when George and Jerry come up with the concept of the "show about nothing".

I always loved "The Andrea Doria". When George is telling how bad his life is and we relive classic parts of episodes like the shrinkage moment in "The Hamptons"

"The Kiss Hello", with the one scene where Jerry, fed up, says, "Let me tell yous something, Mr. Cosmo Kramer or whatever your name is, I'm not kissing anyone hello on the cheek anymore!" Kramer then kisses him on the lips. At that moment, George opens the door, sees the kiss, then closes the door with out a word.

my favourite at the moment is the mannequin/ whooshy suit episode. I just love the bit in monks where he discovers its whooshing and starts swishing about...

I am sure a lot of people love the episode with the fanatical auto mechanic. Those scenes crack me up. "Have you been picking at it?" "You don't even know the car . . . ." Great character actor.

"The Bottle Deposit." Brad Garrett as Tony the mechanic. Great double episode with Sue Ellen the O'Henry! heir, the Kennedy golf clubs that Peterman wants: "Elaine, I never knew Kennedy had such a temper," George not following Wilhelm into the Men's room and the guy from accounting, Kramer & Newman and their scheme, Newman and the farmer's daughter, etc., etc.

I think Kramers "commercial" for Hennigans in "the red dot" is one of the funniest scenes i've seen in any episode.

I've always considered "The Chinese Woman" to be an unsung classic.
