DON'T invite Jerry Seinfeld and NBC honcho Jeff Zucker to the same TV dinner - their wives don't get along. Jessica Seinfeld and Karen Zucker used to be the best of friends. Their kids are the same age, and they lived next-door to each other on the Upper East Side. But one day last September, the nanny who takes care of baby Sascha Seinfeld said she had to talk to the parents. "The nanny was so freaked out. She sat them down. Her hands were shaking," said one source. The nanny told the Seinfelds that Karen had been saying terrible things about Jessica behind her back. "Jessica confronted Karen, and Karen denied the whole thing," said an insider. Finally, Jerry called Jeff. "Jerry wanted to deal with it. He was like, 'Can you explain what happened?' Jeff had absolutely no idea what was going on. Jerry just told him he was surprised and disappointed." Said one young mother who knows Karen Zucker: "She's a woman who has a tremendous amount of time on her hands."
