In the episode with the mentor Kramer hostes a party for jews. The scene were Frank and Kramer smoke cigares as they enter Jerrys ap. Kramer mentiones that Frank was over to pick up a check for some hall were the party should be. Why does he pay Frank? anyone?

Frank is a member of a fraternal organization called the Knights of Columbus, Kramer has rented their lodge for the singles party. Presumably Frank will forward the check to the lodge's treasurer.
