I would be "disappointed" (although not that much) if the episodes didn't have a commentary on them. The writer of the episode plus Larry David and/or Jerry (unless they ARE the writers of the episode, of course.)
Not in character though, I don't think that would work. Maybe for Spinal Tap, but not Seinfeld.

I'd like to see commentary by Larry David included - possibly with Jerry together. On the "Alan Partridge" DVD here in the UK Alan and his assistant Lynn commentate on the episodes in character which doesn't quite work but could be good for Seinfeld. All 4 of them on each ep may be a bit much but jerry and 1 other (or any 2) might be a nice idea. They'd have a lot to do mind.
I see in stores the first season of "The Mary Tyler Moore Show" is now on DVD. Does anyone know what special features that has?
