George's brother?

This is my first time posting on this newgroup. This is my mom's e-mail address, my name is Tommy. I was watching "The Suicide" tonight and George and Elaine were at a psychic when she asked George about a Pauline and George said His brother impregnated a Pauline. I don't know if I misundersdtood or what, but I've never heard mention of George having a brother on the show. If anyone knows anything, please post it.

Funny, I heard the same thing. I was really in shock, because I never heard any other mention on any of the Seinfeld shows about George having a brother either.

But it was eventually decided to let the matter rest, and not introduce George's brother as a real person. The mention of him (he's mentioned in one other episode, when George says that no one in his family ever parked in a garage - his mother, his father, or his brother) remains simply a continuity error like all the others. :-) Jerry mentioned a sister once...that's the same deal, except that they never considered bringing her in as a real person. Elaine's sister Gail, obviously, is real...she's spoken to her on the phone, etc.

I don't understand why you say George doesn't have a brother. Has anyone associated with the show said that those two references were errors? If not, I would not jump to that conclusion. I know plenty of people who have siblings that they never see or talk to and about whom they rarely talk. Why not just think of it that way, rather than pronoucing the show in error?

George does mention his brother one additional time. In The Parking Space, he quickly mentions him along with his mother and father as being excellent parallel parkers. As far as I know George never again mentions his brother, and neither do his parents.

Not GOOD parkers...he said no one in his family could PAY for parking.......

George mentions his brother exactly twice, once in "The Suicide" where
he told the psychic his brother impregnated a woman named Pauline, and
again in "The Parking Spot" when he mentions his brother, as with the
whole family, was a good parallel parker.  No other mentions, and of
course he's never been seen.
