Last night (Sunday 5/26) I saw an episode where George converts to Latvian Orthodox in order to impress a woman. (Other story lines: one of the nuns was attracted to Kramer and almost left the order because of him. Elaine was dating a podiatrist, so there was some conversation about whether a podiatrist was really a doctor. Jerry found some fungus cream in his date's medicine cabinet and was turned off by the idea that she might have some kind of fungus.)
Comment #1 --I paid particularly close attention, because of the long-running (and annoying) debate going on here about whether George is Jewish. However I did not see anything that clarified this for us (I did miss the first few minutes of the episode). Did anyone see this episode last night?
Comment #2 -- I didn't see this episode on the syndication schedule I printed out from this newsgroup. The schedule includes Saturdays but no Sundays. Does anyone know the name of this episode so I can find it on my list?
