Viewers puzzle over the rhyming wordplay in the Junior Mint episode, particularly questioning what fish and car rhyme with Delores, and why opening Jerry's fridge triggers his memory.

Okay, it took my wife and I awhile to figure out what rhymed with Delores, but after we figured that out, we had the same question -- what fish and what car? (I'll buy DeLorean but I'm still waiting for a good fish word. (Porpoise? Dorsal (as in fin)?)

But then my next question was: Why did opening his fridge jog Jerry's memory? JUST WHAT HAS HE GOT IN THAT THING, ANYWAY? (Caps signify that text should be read with excited-Jerry-voice.) I could see maybe opening the medicine cabinet and seeing some Lavoris... or turning on the TV and seeing the Simpsons episode concerning "Truckasaurus"...

Color me baffled!

I've held back on this fish thing, figuring my answer would pop up pretty quickly. But since I haven't seen it yet, here goes. Perhaps it's a reference to a fish lure. Try a Brooklyn accent on it. "Da Lure." Works for me.
