Viewers ask whether syndicated Seinfeld episodes air on the same schedule nationwide or if stations have independent syndication rights to determine airing order.
Dumb question:
Often people here say "In the episode last night ........." and it happens to be the same episode I saw aired locally that night.
This past week I was in central WI and compared notes with a friend back home in MN - same episodes shown each night.
My question is: Was it coincidence ? Or do sindication rights dictate when episodes are shown ?

i dont know where in central wisconsin you are but here on fox11 out of green bay they jump around all the time and move back and forth between seasons

I understand fox40 from LA(??) will start an entire run from 1-180 on or about the 17th of September.
Dunno by any stretch if the PR episode will air.

Yep, the schedule is the same all over the country. Note that it's different in other countries with different syndication packages.

Usually the affiliates will get year long packages of episodes to be aired. So it's quite possible that all the affiliates have the same deal with Columbia Pictures Television and that's why the same episodes are airing in different places.
