What is the "Move?!?"

What is the move that Elaine's boyfriend copied off Jerry? I want to know. If anyone knows, please tell me. You know, with the swirl or the pinch?

Well, first Jerry tried the switch (dating the *other* rommate)

Then George tried the technique to get *out* of a relationship

Both failed, as they had not anticipated the response. I haven't seen any episode where Elaine tried the switch, but then we're behind.

"the Switch" is to date one rommate, meet the other, dump the first - then date the other.

It has got to be oral sex because as Jerry is explaining it he talks about ending with a swirl or something, I can't remember. I do remember discussing it the next day at school and everyone was sure it was oral sex.

It's probably in league with the "Venus Butterfly" that was mentioned on L.A. Law a few years back. I'm sure "the move" on Seinfeld is fictitious. However, there are many books out which cover "alternative" moves. You might want to track one of those down instead... ;^)

This is a testimony to the subtleness of the show...I got the impression it referred to oral sex; George was having no luck with "the knuckle" but Jerry's "swirl" was amazingly effective for him. Elaine's new boyfriend used the swirl on her and having dated Jerry she recognized it. Of course the swirl was mentioned often, but never in a way that gave you any indication of what exactly was involved. Yes, "the pinch" was mentioned but I can't remember if it was Elaine's boyfriend was using it before switching to the swirl...or George, when he wasn't using the knuckle [ouch]?

The mechanic's name is David Puddy. He's a big NJ Devils fan. He learned the move from Jerry when Jerry told him about it when he was using it on Elaine. Jerry's mad because Puddy used "his" move and changed the last part from the swirl to a pinch. When George sees how Elaine takes to the move, he gets Jerry to teach it to him so he can use it on his girlfriend. He messes it up the first time so ends up writing crib notes on his hand the next time out. His girlfriend is pleasantly surprised, especially by the counter-clockwise swirl, until she sees the notes on his hand and then decides that he's sick.

Don't forget about Kramer driving Estelle somewhere, and slammed on the brakes, and put his hand in front of her to keep her from going forwards. Then Frank thought Kramer was stealing his move and using it on his wife :)

	I believe Jerry had the move first and told his car
	mechanic about it and he used it. Jerry got mad.
