Fans debate whether Newman's arrival to eat muffin stumps parodies The Equalizer or Pulp Fiction's cleaner character, with Pulp Fiction's Harvey Keitel being the leading theory.
When Elaine gets Newman to arrive at the end to eat the muffin stumps, I think this is a parody of the character from the TV series the Equalizer, that was in its first-run in the mid-1980s. The way he arrived and his manner reminded me of this. Did anyone else notice this, or did it remind you of some other parody?

No, it's more likely a parody of Pulp Fiction. As I said in another post just a couple days ago: "a man (with a nickname) called in to take care of a messy situation, pulls up fast in a sports car, makes specific demands for items, apologizes for curtness and explains it's due to a shortage of time, etc."
