Newsgroups

I've browsed a few other newsgroups on and off, and got the impression that some people close to the shows posted news now and then. As i've only been on this group a short time i wondered if any of the cast or people on the periphery of the show has ever left any mail or got involved in any way ?

I've seen a post by Kenny Kramer, the actual person the character of Kramer was based on. He was answering some questions concerning his Peterman Reality Tour he run in NYC. I beleive that is the closest this Newsgroup has come in having a "connected" member of the Seinfeld world during my time of reading this group.

Has Jerry read this group? As Dave said - If you had a newsgroup named after you, wouldn't you read it?

Yeah, makes sense...if I had a newsgroup (or one based on a show I write/direct/produce or star in, I'd visit every chance I get)...

Actually I've thought about this, since I'm young (16) and if all my "plans" go as well planned I will get some of the shows I write eventually made and aired on TV (they're all original, and pretty good if I do say so myself). Anyway, I've thought being an alt.tv.mash goer and knowing how fun it is to see someone like Larry Gelbart, the show's writer, director (through season 5 anyway) and developer, constantly posting messages. It's fun to be able to ask someone who [was] closely related to the show questions about it...I know when the time, if ever, comes that a show I write/produce heck maybe even star in becomes newsgroup worthy, I will visit it often enough...

why not, have to stay true to the fans...if you don't have fans then it's just masturbation...
