OK.....I'm a huge fan, but someone brought a quote the other day that I can't place and it's driving me crazy!!!
It's where Kramer's girlfriend breaks up with him (or something along those lines), and the memorable scene is where kramer is holding his hands out and saying "but I love you!"
Does anyone have any idea of what episode this is from, or at least what any of the other sub-plots were from that episode?
I appreciate any help you can give me.

Kramer has had a change of heart.

It is one of the most annoying episodes. I don't like either the drunk Englishman nor his stupid dog. Fortunately Kramer makes it worthwhile watching anyway.

Finally! I keep seeing that scene in promos and I can't place it either. The reason is that I detest that whole episode and don't watch it in reruns, I saw it once and only once. I think the only episode I have never seen at least once from beginning to end is the wedding in India, the backwards episode. It just struck me as some writers showing off, "See how clever *I* am."
No, it was an homage to the original writer of the play, The Betrayal, by (Harold) Pinter (the groom's name in the episode). Pinter's original story was written in reverse flashback style.
But I agree the episode was poor - due to the content of the episode itself, not because of the backwards development.

Poor, but consistent with most of seasons 8 and 9 (no Larry David).
Can't wait for Season 7 of Curb, which allegedly will have the Seinfeld four as their real selves together.
