I remember that right after he explained about manure, the girl told him that her boyfriend had the same watch as George. "He's a real watch freak." George later found out that the girl didn't have a boyfriend, she made him up. I think she was a waitress at Reggie's.

He uses it in "The Soup" (#89, first aired 11/10/94).
He's taking a walk in the park with a waitress from Monk's, and starts talking about how manure is a good thing, when she mentions that her [fictional] boyfriend collects watches.
That was the waitress from the coffee shop. After George made his
"ma-nure" reference she mentioned that her 'boyfriend' had the same
watch as him. That was from "The Soup" (Banya, Armani suit, meal at
Mendy's etc.)
